The movie This Means War stars Chris Pine and Tom Hardy as CIA agents and best friends, FDR Foster and Tuck Hansen. However, their bromance is put to the test when they both fall for the same woman, Lauren Scott, played by Reese Witherspoon.
Unaware that they are dating the same woman, FDR and Tuck both use their CIA resources and skills to try to win her over. They spy on each other's dates with Lauren and even sabotage each other's plans.
As they continue to compete for Lauren's affections, tensions rise between FDR and Tuck and their friendship starts to unravel. Meanwhile, Lauren becomes increasingly frustrated with the manipulative and competitive behavior of the two men.
Things come to a head when a dangerous criminal from FDR and Tuck's past puts Lauren in harm's way and the two agents must set aside their differences to protect her. Ultimately, FDR and Tuck realize the importance of their friendship and decide to put it first, letting Lauren go and salvaging their relationship.
This Means War is a romantic action-comedy filled with thrilling spy shenanigans and a love story that will keep audiences guessing until the very end.
