Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead is a 1995 mafia film directed by Gary Fleder and written by Scott Rosenberg. The film stars Andy Garcia as Jimmy "The Saint" Tosnia, a former gangster who is now out of the business and trying to live a quiet life with his girlfriend, Dagney (Gabrielle Anwar). However, when he is approached by a wise godfather known only as "The Man with the Plan" (Christopher Walken), his peaceful existence is shattered.

The Man with the Plan offers Jimmy a chance to earn some money by performing a few "favours" for him. Jimmy reluctantly agrees, and soon finds himself working with a team of other misfits, including the volatile and unpredictable Psycho (Steve Buscemi), the smooth-talking Franchise (William Forsythe), and the enigmatic Pieces (Christopher Lloyd). Together, the group is tasked with intimidating a former employee of The Man with the Plan, who has stolen a significant amount of money from him.

As the team sets out to complete their mission, they discover that things aren't quite what they seem. The former employee, named Bernard (Michael Nicolosi), is not quite the pushover they thought he would be. Meanwhile, Jimmy begins to realize that The Man with the Plan is not as benevolent as he had originally appeared.

The film is notable for its clever writing, filled with Tarantino-esque dialogue and scenes of sudden violence. It also features an outstanding cast, including Garcia, Walken, Buscemi, Forsythe and Lloyd, as well as supporting players such as Treat Williams, Fairuza Balk and Jack Warden. The film has become something of a cult classic in the years since its release, and remains a favourite among fans of the crime genre.
