Things Are Tough All Over is a 1982 comedy film directed by Thomas K. Avildsen and starring Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong. The film follows the adventures of the two stoner comedians as they drive a limo from Chicago to Las Vegas, unaware that they are transporting five million dollars of dirty money.

The limo is owned by Mr. Slyman (Rikki Marin), a wealthy Arab businessman, and is driven by his driver, Abdullah (Michael Winslow). When Mr. Slyman and his nephew Prince Habib (Tony Cox) hire Cheech and Chong to drive the limo to Las Vegas, they fail to mention the valuable cargo hidden inside.

Throughout the journey, the two comedians encounter a variety of obstacles, including police chases, street gangs, and a group of Amish farmers who hitchhike with them. Along the way, they also get into several hilarious misadventures involving a strip club, a hotel pool, and a pair of stolen motorcycles.

As they near Las Vegas, Cheech and Chong discover the money in the car and decide to keep it for themselves. However, they soon attract the attention of the police and the Arab mobsters who want their money back.

Things Are Tough All Over is a classic Cheech and Chong comedy, featuring plenty of absurd humor, witty one-liners, and hilarious visual gags. The film also showcases the duo's unique brand of social satire and political commentary, highlighting issues such as racism and class inequality.
