Nada, played by Roddy Piper, begins to see these subliminal messages everywhere he goes, including billboards, magazines, and television broadcasts. He realizes that the sunglasses reveal not just the messages, but also the true forms of the aliens living among humans.
Nada joins forces with a group of rebels who are also aware of the aliens' presence and are working to expose them to the rest of society. Together, they wage a guerrilla war against the aliens, destroying communication hubs and disrupting their plans for global domination.
As Nada digs deeper into the aliens' plans, he discovers that they are using Earth's resources to fuel their own civilization and that they have been manipulating humanity for centuries. With the help of his newfound allies, including a woman named Holly (played by Meg Foster), Nada sets out to defeat the aliens once and for all.
The film culminates in a climactic showdown between Nada and the aliens, during which Nada manages to destroy their signal that controls human perception. In the end, he sacrifices himself to ensure that the truth is revealed to the world, sparking a revolution against the alien overlords. The film ends on an ambiguous note, leaving the audience to wonder about the future of Earth and humanity.
