They Call Me Bruce? is a 1982 comedy film directed by Elliott Hong and starring Johnny Yune as Bruce, a bumbling Asian immigrant who gets caught up in the criminal underworld of the Cosa Nostra. Bruce works as a cook for the organization, unaware that they are involved in illegal activities, until he is tricked into delivering a package that turns out to be cocaine.

Despite his initial shock, Bruce decides to use his martial arts skills to fight back against the gangsters who have taken advantage of him. Along the way, he meets a wide cast of characters, including a beautiful reporter named Cynthia (Margaux Hemingway) who helps him expose the criminal organization, and a chain-smoking nun who becomes his ally.

As he travels across the country, Bruce must navigate a series of wacky and dangerous situations, from battling a room full of mobsters to saving Cynthia from a gang of bikers. Along the way, he learns that he can't rely on his martial arts alone to solve his problems, and that friendship, love, and a little bit of luck are just as important.

The film is known for its slapstick humor, playful references to classic martial arts movies, and its portrayal of an Asian hero who defies stereotypes. Although it was not a commercial success at the time of its release, They Call Me Bruce? has become a cult classic and is still celebrated for its unique blend of action and comedy.
