"They" is a horror movie that was released in 2002. The film begins with Julia Lund (played by Laura Regan), a psychology student, struggling to come to terms with a traumatic event she witnessed as a child. At the same time, she begins experiencing strange and terrifying occurrences that she can't explain.
Julia's fears begin to consume her as she becomes convinced that a group of dark, shadowy figures known as "the sleepers" are targeting her. Despite her efforts to rationalize her experiences, she slowly realizes that everything she ever feared as a child could be real and that she is not safe.
Julia eventually seeks the help of her childhood friend and fellow survivor, Sam Burnside (played by Ethan Embry), who also witnessed the same traumatic event. Together, they uncover a dark and terrifying secret about their past that could lead to their ultimate demise.
As the sleepers close in on Julia, she must overcome her fears and confront the demons of her past in order to save herself and those she loves. The movie explores themes of trauma, fear, and the power of the mind to create its own reality.
