The movie Thesis on a Homicide is a psychological thriller that follows the story of Roberto Bermúdez, a law professor and criminal lawyer who teaches at the Faculty of Law in Buenos Aires. One day, during a lecture, he discovers that one of his students, Gonzalo, has written an exceptional thesis on the perfect crime.
However, soon afterwards, a young woman is found brutally murdered right in front of the Faculty of Law, and Roberto becomes convinced that Gonzalo is the murderer. Despite the lack of evidence and the protests of his colleagues, Roberto begins to investigate the case with an obsessive determination, using his expertise in criminal law to try to prove Gonzalo's guilt.
As he delves deeper into the case, Roberto's life begins to unravel, as he becomes increasingly isolated from his friends and family, and risks his reputation and career in his quest for the truth. Along the way, he crosses paths with a mysterious woman who may hold the key to solving the crime, and begins to question his own sanity as his obsession takes over his life.
