The small town electrician, named Jack, is initially resistant to the therapy offered by Dr. Peselowe, but eventually begins to open up about his anger issues and traumatic past. As he starts to make progress in therapy, he starts to feel like a weight has been lifted off his shoulders.
However, things take a dark turn when Jack is accused of robbing a local business and the owner is found murdered. Despite maintaining his innocence, the evidence begins to mount against him and he becomes the prime suspect in both crimes.
Feeling betrayed and abandoned by everyone around him, including Dr. Peselowe and Bonnie, Jack goes on the run to try and clear his name. As he delves deeper into the mystery of who framed him, he discovers a tangled web of lies, deceit, and corruption that reaches far beyond the small town he calls home.
With his back against the wall and his trust shattered, Jack must rely on his own resourcefulness and determination to uncover the truth and bring the real perpetrators to justice. Along the way, he must confront his own demons and come to terms with his past in order to finally find redemption and closure.
