The Wrong Missy is a 2020 American comedy film directed by Tyler Spindel and written by Chris Pappas and Kevin Barnett. The movie stars David Spade as Tim Morris, a lovelorn corporate executive who falls for Missy (Lauren Lapkus) after a blind date gone wrong. Tim thinks he's texting the woman of his dreams, but unknowingly sends the invitation to his company's annual retreat to a woman named Missy who he went on a disastrous date with.

Missy, however, is not the woman Tim is thinking of. She is an outgoing, brash, and socially awkward woman who quickly disrupts the otherwise buttoned-up corporate environment at the retreat. As Tim tries to survive the weekend and impress his boss, Jack (Geoff Pierson), and co-worker, Nate (Nick Swardson), Missy becomes increasingly attached to him, much to Tim's dismay.

As the weekend unfolds, Tim begins to see a different side of Missy and realizes that she might not be the wrong Missy after all. The two engage in a number of hijinks and misadventures throughout the retreat, including a wild night out and an ill-fated kayaking trip. Eventually, Tim comes to appreciate Missy's quirks and unconventional personality, and the two of them end up falling for each other.

The Wrong Missy received mixed reviews from critics but was popular among audiences. The film was praised for its humor and the performances of Spade and Lapkus. The movie is available on Netflix.
