In The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse: Steamboat Silly, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto discover that hundreds of old film reel versions of Mickey have somehow come to life and are causing chaos all over town. These old versions of Mickey, including his original appearance in Steamboat Willie, his adventure in The Band Concert, and his modern-day appearances, have personalities and quirks that make them all unique.
As Mickey and his friends try to corral the mischievous versions of him, they must also contend with the machinations of their old nemesis, Pete. Pete has somehow gained control of the Film Archive, where all of the old film reels are stored, and is using the power of the various Mickeys to wreak havoc on the citizens of town.
Mickey and his friends must not only stop the old versions of Mickey but also find a way to take down Pete and his evil plan. Along the way, they'll encounter familiar faces like Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and Horace Horsecollar, and take a thrilling ride through various classic movies and scenes from Mickey's history.
