The Will follows the story of Josephine Malone who had a difficult childhood fraught with abandonment and rejection. She found solace in her grandmother, Lydia Malone, who instilled in her the values of love and kindness. However, after Lydia's death, Josephine felt lost and alone, and she developed a deep-rooted fear of getting too close to anyone, fearing that they might leave her as well.
As a result, Josephine adopted a disguising persona and traveled the world, avoiding any kind of emotional attachments with people. Meanwhile, Jake Spear, a retired boxer, struggled with his own demons and poor choices, particularly in his relationships. Despite their different paths in life, Josephine and Jake shared the same hometown, where Lydia lived her entire life.
After Lydia's passing, she left a will that would bring Josephine and Jake together, and they would have to work together to execute her final wish. In doing so, the two vulnerable protagonists would overcome their past traumas and learn to trust and love again. Along the way, they would encounter twists and turns, including discovering family secrets and uncovering the truth about their identity.
