Suburban Hit: The Mobster's Dilemma

The Whole Nine Yards is a 2000 crime-comedy film starring Bruce Willis as a former hitman named Jimmy "The Tulip" Tudeski who is living in hiding in suburban Montreal under the FBI's witness protection program. Matthew Perry plays his neighbor, a dentist named Nicholas "Oz" Oseransky, who unwittingly gets mixed up in Jimmy's past when he is targeted by the Hungarian mafia in search of Jimmy's whereabouts.

As a result, Jimmy and Oz team up to evade the mobsters, while trying to keep Jimmy's true identity secret from Oz's wife and their other eccentric neighbors. Along the way, they encounter a flamboyant contract killer named Frankie Figs, played by Michael Clarke Duncan, as well as Jimmy's ex-wife, Cynthia, played by Natasha Henstridge.

The film is directed by Jonathan Lynn and features a comedic and occasionally violent tone, with a plot that twists and turns as Jimmy and Oz negotiate their way through a series of dangerous situations. The Whole Nine Yards was a commercial success upon its release, spawning a sequel, The Whole Ten Yards, in 2004.
