The White Storm 2: Drug Lords is a 2019 Hong Kong action thriller film directed by Herman Yau and stars Andy Lau, Louis Koo, and Michael Miu. It is a standalone sequel to the 2013 film The White Storm.
The story follows two former friends turned enemies, Yu Shun-tin (played by Andy Lau) and Jizo (played by Louis Koo), who both have their own plans for the drug market in Hong Kong. Yu, a wealthy businessman with a dark past as a triad member, wants to eradicate drugs from Hong Kong and solve the drug problem once and for all.
On the other hand, Jizo is a notorious drug lord who wants to singlehandedly take over the drug exchange in Hong Kong and become the number one drug lord. He uses violent and brutal methods to achieve his goals, including killing those who stand in his way.
Meanwhile, Lam Ching-fung (played by Michael Miu) is a dedicated cop from the Narcotics Bureau who is determined to prevent drug abuse in Hong Kong. However, he faces uncertainty when he discovers that his own daughter has become addicted to drugs, and he must balance his duty as a cop with his role as a father.
As the conflict between Yu and Jizo escalates, Lam finds himself caught in the middle of their deadly feud, and he must choose which side he wants to be on. The White Storm 2: Drug Lords is a thrilling and action-packed film that explores the complex and dangerous world of drug trafficking and addiction.
