The film begins with a prologue set in Paris in 1900, where a young girl named Sonia witnesses the brutal murder of her parents by a masked man with a metal claw. She manages to escape and seek refuge in a nearby church, where she is taken in by a kind priest. Twelve years later, she is all grown up and living in Rome when a new wax museum opens, whose lifelike recreations of gruesome murder scenes attract hordes of curious visitors.

One such visitor is Andrea, a young man who is convinced he can spend the night in the museum and win a bet with his friends. During the night, he encounters strange happenings and is ultimately killed by the mysterious metal-clawed killer. As bodies begin to pile up in the streets of Rome, the wax museum becomes the prime suspect, and police detective Amos is brought in to investigate.

Amos soon discovers that the museum is run by Boris Volkoff, a sinister and reclusive artist who creates the wax figures himself. As Amos delves deeper into the mystery, he begins to uncover a web of deceit and betrayal, and realizes that Sonia may have a connection to the killer. With time running out, Amos must race to uncover the truth before more people are killed, and the wax museum becomes a permanent home for its gruesome new figures.

Its impressive special effects, eerie sets, and creepy score help to create a chilling atmosphere, and the performances by the cast are suitably intense and engaging. Overall, it is a must-see for fans of the horror genre who appreciate a good scare.
