Lucia and her son, Gabriel, have been living in isolation for years, trying to escape a traumatic past that still haunts them. They have created a routine for themselves, with Lucia homeschooling Gabriel and taking care of the house while he helps with the chores and tends to the small garden they have in the backyard.
Everything changes when a strange creature begins haunting their home, appearing only at night and leaving behind a trail of destruction. Lucia and Gabriel are terrified and unsure of what to do, as the creature seems to be specifically targeting them. As the attacks escalate, the relationship between mother and son is strained as they struggle to protect themselves and survive in this harsh environment.
Desperate for help, Lucia ventures out into the wasteland surrounding their home in search of answers. She encounters other survivors who have been living in solitude like them, but she also learns of dark secrets and hidden dangers lurking in the desolate landscape.
As the creature closes in on them, Lucia and Gabriel must confront their fears and past traumas in order to survive. They realize that in order to truly escape their demons, they must face them head-on and fight for their lives in a world that is as unforgiving as it is mysterious.
