The Warlords is a 2007 Chinese historical action film directed by Peter Chan and starring Jet Li, Andy Lau, and Takeshi Kaneshiro. The film is set in the 1860s during the Taiping Rebellion in China, and follows the story of three blood brothers, who come together and join forces to fight for their survival and their beliefs.
The three brothers are played by Li, Lau, and Kaneshiro, and each represents a different symbol of leadership, loyalty and duty. Liu Jinshui (Li) is a brave and loyal general who seeks to protect his people, while the ambitious and cunning Pang Qingyun (Lau) seeks to gain power and control over the region.
