The brother, Tyler, and sister, Becca, are sent to their grandparents' farm by their mother, who has been estranged from her parents for years. The children are excited to meet their grandparents, but soon begin to notice strange behavior. The grandparents have strict rules, such as not leaving their room after 9:30 pm, and exhibit bizarre habits, such as crawling around on the floor and acting aggressively towards visitors.
As the week progresses, the children begin to investigate their grandparents' past and find disturbing clues that suggest they are not who they say they are. They discover that their real grandparents had died years ago, and the people they had been staying with were imposters. The imposters had been using their grandparents' identities to cover up their own twisted schemes, which involved trapping people in a basement and subjecting them to horrific experiments.
Tyler and Becca become trapped in the basement with the other victims, and must fight for their survival as they try to escape and expose the truth about their grandparents. The film culminates in a terrifying and suspenseful finale that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
