In the movie, it is revealed that Hank Venture, now in his twenties, has been working undercover for the Guild of Calamitous Intent. However, his cover is blown and he goes on the run from both the Guild and the OSI. Meanwhile, The Monarch, who has lost his memories due to a failed experiment, becomes obsessed with killing Dr. Venture, believing him to be responsible for his condition.
As the manhunt for Hank intensifies, he teams up with old friends and enemies, including his brother Dean, Brock Samson, and even The Monarch, to uncover a sinister plot that threatens the entire world. Along the way, they encounter dangerous creatures, uncover shocking secrets, and confront an ancient evil that has been awakened and seeks to destroy everything in its path.
As the Ventures and their allies race against time to stop the threat, they also confront personal demons and reckon with the consequences of their past actions. In the end, they must make sacrifices and difficult choices that will determine the fate of not just themselves, but the entire world.
