The Valet is a romantic comedy film directed by Francis Veber and released in 2006. The film revolves around Antonio, a hard-working car valet, who comes into the limelight after he is asked to pose as the new boyfriend of Olivia, a world-famous movie star, to cover up her affair with Vincent, a married man. It was nominated for several awards, including a Cesar Award for Best Supporting Actress for Kristin Scott Thomas's portrayal of Laure. The film's success also led to an American remake, entitled The Accidental Husband, starring Uma Thurman and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
