The Vagrant is a 1992 horror-comedy film directed by Chris Walas. The film stars Bill Paxton as Graham Krakowski, a successful businessman who purchases a newly renovated house. However, soon after moving in, he discovers that the house is already occupied by a filthy and eccentric homeless man known as "The Vagrant" (played by Marshall Bell).

At first, Krakowski tries to ignore The Vagrant and hopes he will go away on his own. But The Vagrant proves to be more than just an annoyance when he begins to cause all sorts of trouble around the house. He steals Krakowski's food, vandalizes his property, and terrorizes him with creepy pranks and bizarre behavior.

As Krakowski becomes increasingly desperate to get rid of The Vagrant, his life begins to spiral out of control. He loses his job, his wife leaves him, and he even starts to hallucinate about the deranged homeless man. Soon, he realizes that The Vagrant is not just a nuisance, but a dangerous and unstoppable force that may be out to destroy him.

As the movie progresses, the conflict between Krakowski and The Vagrant escalates into a full-blown battle of wills, with both men resorting to ever more extreme tactics in their efforts to come out on top. The Vagrant is a darkly comedic horror film with a strong performance from Bill Paxton and some great practical effects from director Chris Walas.
