The Unholy is a horror movie released in 2021 directed by Evan Spiliotopoulos. The film is based on James Herbert's novel The Shrine. The story revolves around Alice, a young disable girl who is living in a small town. Alice has lost her hearing and speech ability in an accident, but after a mysterious visit by a spirit that claims to be the Virgin Mary, her life takes a dramatic turn.
