In The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, Bella and Edward are happily married and have just welcomed their half-vampire, half-human daughter, Renesmee. However, their happiness is short-lived as the Volturi, the powerful ruling vampire council, falsely believe that Renesmee is an immortal child (a child who has been turned into a vampire), which is strictly forbidden in their world.
The Cullens gather other vampire clans from around the world to stand with them and prove to the Volturi that Renesmee is not a threat. Bella and Edward also enlist the help of some of their closest human friends to act as witnesses to Renesmee's unique abilities. As the two sides prepare for a final showdown, Bella comes into her own as a vampire, using her new powers to protect her family and their allies.
The film culminates in an intense battle between the Cullens and the Volturi, which sees many casualties on both sides. However, in the end, the Volturi are convinced that Renesmee poses no threat, and the Cullens are allowed to keep their family and their way of life intact. The film ends with Bella, Edward, and Renesmee living happily ever after as they navigate the challenges of being a hybrid family in the vampire world.
