In the movie The Train Robbers, Lane is joined in his mission by a motley crew of associates, including a former Confederate soldier named Grady, a gambler named Jesse, and a young gunslinger named Ben. Together, they journey to Mexico to retrieve the stolen gold and bring it back to Mrs. Lowe.
Along the way, they must fight off various obstacles, including a band of ruthless outlaws who are also after the gold. The group also encounters a beautiful woman named Anna, who becomes a romantic interest for Lane.
As they near their destination, tensions rise within the group as they must decide what to do with the gold once they recover it. Lane ultimately decides to turn it over to Mrs. Lowe, despite the temptation to keep it for themselves.
