The Tortured is a 2010 horror/thriller film directed by Robert Lieberman. The movie stars Erika Christensen and Jesse Metcalfe as a young couple, Elise and Craig Landry, whose lives are shattered when their six-year-old son Benjamin is abducted and killed.
Haunted by the tragedy, the couple struggles to cope with their grief and the guilt of not being able to protect their child. As they try to come to terms with what has happened, they begin to spiral into a dark place of despair and anger.
Determined to seek revenge, they take matters into their own hands after discovering the identity of their son's killer. In a chilling twist, they kidnap the murderer and subject him to their own form of justice, torturing him in an attempt to make him suffer as much as their son did.
