The Third Generation is a satirical film directed by German director Rainer Werner Fassbinder and released in 1979. The film follows the story of a group of terrorists who call themselves the "Third Generation," as they plan a kidnapping operation to force a wealthy businessman, PJ Lurz, to pay for their revolutionary activities.
