The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 is a horror film released in 1986 and directed by Tobe Hooper. It is the sequel to the 1974 film The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
In this movie, a radio DJ named Stretch (played by Caroline Williams) receives a recording of a brutal murder that was committed by a group of cannibalistic psychopaths known as the Sawyer family. One of the Sawyers, known as Leatherface (played by Bill Johnson), catches wind of Stretch's possession of the tape and begins to stalk her. Meanwhile, former Texas Marshall "Lefty" Enright (played by Dennis Hopper) is determined to take down the Sawyer family as revenge for the murder of his nephew in the original film.
As Stretch becomes more involved in the Sawyer family's twisted world, she discovers that they are not only cannibals but also engage in creating grotesque art from their victims' body parts. Throughout the movie, there are several tense and gruesome sequences featuring chainsaws, meat hooks, and other deadly weapons.
The film's climax takes place at the Sawyers' underground lair, where Leatherface and his family members attempt to kill Stretch and Lefty. However, Lefty manages to destroy the lair and vanquish most of the Sawyers, including Leatherface.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 is known for its black humor and over-the-top gore, as well as Dennis Hopper's manic performance as Lefty. Despite mixed reviews upon its initial release, the movie has since gained a cult following among horror fans.
