In The Tent, David is played by Tim Kaiser and Mary is played by Lulu Dahl. The Crisis has wiped out most of humanity, leaving David to fend for himself with limited resources. He has resorted to his survival skills learned from his upbringing, including hunting and trapping animals for food and sheltering in a makeshift tent on the outskirts of the wilderness.
One day, Mary stumbles upon David's camp and begs him for help as she was abducted by a group of survivors who enslaved her. At first hesitant to trust her, David eventually takes her under his wing and teaches her his ways of survival. But as they spend more time together, Mary begins to question David's tactics and beliefs.
Their already precarious situation becomes even more dangerous when they encounter strange and ominous entities known only as "Those Who Walk In Darkness." These creatures seem to have the power to manipulate reality and may be responsible for The Crisis itself.
The Tent is a slow-burn horror film that focuses on the psychological and emotional turmoil of its characters as they face the end of the world. The movie was directed by Kyle Couch and released in 2020.
