The Taking is a horror-thriller film about two complete strangers, Bae (Nansi Nsue) and Jasin (John Halas), who are drugged and abducted by a sinister family that aims to sacrifice their souls to an ancient and evil entity.
The movie begins with Bae, a victim of human trafficking, attempting to escape from her captors. Jasin, a troubled young man, jumps into her car while fleeing from the police, and the two of them inexplicably find themselves in this horrifying situation.
The family, led by a fanatical patriarch (Roland Sands), plans to offer Bae and Jasin to a terrifying supernatural entity that is unleashed every 13 years. The family believes that by offering the souls of outsiders, they will be granted immortality, power, and wealth.
Bae and Jasin soon realize that they must rely on each other to survive and find a way to escape the clutches of the deadly family. As they attempt to evade the evil forces at play and uncover the truth behind their abduction, they must also confront their own inner demons.
The Taking is a suspenseful and terrifying film that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats until the very end. With gruesome violence, supernatural elements, and unexpected plot twists, the movie is not for the faint-hearted.
