The Suicide Squad (2021) is a standalone sequel to the 2016 film Suicide Squad, which follows a group of notorious supervillains who are recruited by the government for a high-risk mission. The plot of the movie is centered around the infamous Task Force X, a team of super villains, who are sent to the island of Corto Maltese to destroy a Nazi-era laboratory and retrieve top-secret information hidden within it.

As they journey through the dense jungle of the island, the team faces numerous obstacles and dangerous enemies, both human and supernatural. They soon realize that their mission is not what it seems, and their allegiances are tested as they uncover a sinister conspiracy and a powerful enemy known as Starro.
