The Station Agent is a 2003 American comedy-drama film written and directed by Thomas McCarthy. The film stars Peter Dinklage as Finbar McBride, a man born with dwarfism who inherits an abandoned train station in Newfoundland, New Jersey. After the death of his only friend, McBride moves to the rural town and intends to live a life of solitude, surrounded by the tranquility of his newly acquired property.
