The story follows Janna Connelly (Jacqueline Toboni), a military veteran who returns to her family's ranch in North Dakota after her service in Afghanistan. She finds her father, Hank Connelly (Michael O'Neill), under harassment by a corrupt sheriff (Tyler Jacob Moore) who wants to confiscate their horses under the pretext that they are being neglected and mistreated.
