In the movie, Melvin, the nerdy nemesis of Harold and George, decides to cancel Halloween due to safety concerns. But Harold and George are determined to celebrate the spooky holiday, so they come up with a plan to create their own Halloween-like celebration called "Hack-a-ween."
With the help of their invention, the Tattle-Tron 2000, Harold and George recruit their schoolmates to join in on the festivities. However, things take a spooky turn when the villainous Principal Krupp is transformed into their superhero creation, Captain Underpants, and is forced to battle a vengeful monster.
As chaos ensues, the friends realize that their new holiday may have some unintended consequences. It's up to Harold and George to put things right and save Halloween before it's too late.
