Tara and Sam are both highly competitive and ambitious meteorologists who are vying for the same job at a nationally syndicated TV station. When a sudden storm heads towards the region, both Tara and Sam are determined to be the first to cover it.
As they both race towards the storm, they find themselves stranded in a small, run-down village that appears to have been forgotten by Christmas. With nowhere else to turn, they decide to work together to cover the storm and report the news.
As they spend time together in the village, Tara begins to realize that her obsession with her career has blinded her to the things that are truly important in life. She also begins to develop feelings for Sam, who is kind, compassionate and everything she has been looking for in a partner.
However, just as she is ready to make a change in her priorities, Tara receives an offer for the job of her dreams. Will she choose to pursue her career ambitions, or will she stay in the village and pursue her new-found love with Sam?
