The master sculptor and his apprentice are on a mission to find a special tree that is said to have magical properties, perfect for carving a statue for the local temple. The journey is treacherous, with heavy snow and biting winds making the climb difficult. However, they finally make it to the top of the mountain and find the tree.
As they start to carve the statue, they are suddenly overtaken by a blizzard. The snowstorm is so severe that they are forced to seek shelter in an abandoned hut they come across.
As they huddle around a fire, they realize that they have attracted the attention of the Snow Witch, a supernatural being known for her wrath. She appears before them, and her rage is directed mainly at the master sculptor, whom she believes has disrespected nature by carving the sacred tree.
The Snow Witch unleashes her fury, freezing the master sculptor to death before the apprentice's eyes. She then turns to the apprentice, who falls to his knees in fear. However, the Snow Witch is moved by his youth and his promise to never speak of this encounter again.
The apprentice is left alone, devastated by the loss of his beloved master, but with a newfound sense of respect for the power of nature. He returns to the village, where he creates a beautiful statue in honor of his late master. But he never forgets the warning of the Snow Witch, and he never speaks of the encounter again.
