In the movie, Brainy Smurf and Gutsy Smurf have a longstanding rivalry, with Brainy always winning the Smurfberry Hunt due to his intelligence and strategic thinking. When Gutsy sets out to discover Brainy's secret, he enlists the help of Smurfette, who advises him to visit spooky Smurfy Hollow, a place known for its legends of ghosts and the Headless Horseman.
Unbeknownst to Gutsy and Smurfette, the evil wizard Gargamel has set a trap for them in Smurfy Hollow, hoping to capture the Smurfs and use their magical essence for his own nefarious purposes. When both Brainy and Gutsy fall into Gargamel's trap, they are forced to work together to escape, despite their differences.
As they search for a way out, the Smurfs come face-to-face with the legendary ghostly figure of the Headless Horseman, who threatens to capture them all. Through teamwork and bravery, the Smurfs manage to overcome their differences and outsmart Gargamel, ultimately escaping from Smurfy Hollow and returning home safely.
