As the three students, Nic, Jonah, and Haley, continue their road trip, they receive a mysterious signal on their radios. Intrigued, they decide to investigate and track down the source of the signal to an abandoned house in the middle of the desert.
Upon entering the house, the group is exposed to a strange electromagnetic signal that renders them unconscious. When Nic wakes up, he finds himself in a government facility where he is interrogated by a man named Damon, who claims to be a government agent.
