The Shrine follows a group of three young journalists: Carmen, Sara, and Marcus, who are investigating a mysterious cult in a remote town in Poland. The cult is said to practice human sacrifice and has been responsible for the disappearances of several people, including a young American tourist.
As the trio begins their investigation, they are met with extreme hostility from the locals and warned to leave immediately.
