The Shoplifting Pact follows the story of Sky, a bright and bubbly teenager who has been home-schooled for most of her life. Eager to experience high school and make new friends, Sky is thrilled when she is befriended by a group of girls who welcome her into their group.
However, Sky soon discovers that her new friends have a shocking hobby - they are all shoplifters. At first, Sky is hesitant to get involved in their illegal activities, but she doesn't want to lose the newfound friendships she has made. As time goes on, Sky becomes more and more embroiled in the group's activities, and begins to enjoy the thrill of stealing.
But as Sky's involvement in the shoplifting ring deepens, she begins to realise the true cost of her actions. When one of her friends is arrested and charged with theft, Sky is faced with a difficult choice - stay loyal to her friends and risk getting caught, or break away from the group before it's too late.
As Sky's world comes crashing down around her, she is forced to confront the consequences of her choices and make some tough decisions about who she really wants to be. Will she stay true to herself, or continue down a dangerous and destructive path with her new friends?
