The Shiny Shrimps is a French comedy-drama film that was released in 2019. The film follows Matthias Le Goff, an Olympic champion swimmer who is forced to coach the Shiny Shrimps, an amateur gay water polo team, after making a homophobic statement on television.

Initially, Matthias is reluctant to coach the team, but he soon begins to warm up to the Shrimps and their infectious enthusiasm. Together, they embark on a journey to qualify for the Gay Games in Croatia, where the top LGBT athletes from around the world compete.
