The Shepherd: Border Patrol is a 2008 action-thriller film directed by Isaac Florentine and stars Jean-Claude Van Damme as Jack Robideaux, a retired border patrol agent who is forced back into action to stop a group of ex-Navy seals from transporting drugs from Mexico into the US.

Jack is estranged from his family and lives in a small border town, where he runs a cattle ranch. He is also a recovering alcoholic who attends AA meetings. One day, one of his ranch hands is killed by the drug cartel, and Jack finds out that the ex-Navy seals are involved in the smuggling operation.

The ex-Navy seals, led by Benjamin Meyers (played by Stephen Lord), are transporting a large shipment of drugs across the border using a specially designed submarine. They plan to offload the drugs at a remote location, but Jack is determined to stop them.

Jack enlists the help of a young border patrol agent, Maria Martinez (played by Natalya Rudakova), and together they set out to stop the drug smugglers. They face numerous obstacles along the way, including corrupt officials, cartel soldiers, and the harsh Texas terrain.

The film is full of action-packed scenes, including car chases, shootouts, and hand-to-hand combat. It also touches on themes such as drug trafficking, border security, and family reconciliation.

The Shepherd: Border Patrol received mixed reviews from critics but was praised for its action sequences and Van Damme's performance. It was released straight to DVD and Blu-ray.
