Reviving the Dead: A Harvard Anthropologist's Haiti Quest

The story revolves around an anthropologist named Dennis Alan, played by Bill Pullman, who is sent to Haiti by a pharmaceutical company to investigate a powder called zombification powder that has the power to bring dead people back to life.

Once he arrives in Haiti, Dennis meets Marielle Duchamp, played by Cathy Tyson, a local psychiatrist who assists him in his quest to find the zombification powder. The two of them delve deep into the mysterious and dangerous world of voodoo in order to find the cure. They encounter strange rituals, blood rites, and walking dead, but they also discover that they are being pursued by a terrifying entity known as the "Serpent and the Rainbow."
