As Ian and Claire explore their great-grandfather's house, they come across a group of friendly ghosts, including a former baseball player and a flapper, who call themselves the "Scream Team". The ghosts reveal to Ian that they are being tormented by an evil spirit known as the "Gamemaster", who has been trapping the ghosts in their own memories and forcing them to relive their worst fears.
