In the third installment of The Santa Clause franchise, Santa (played by Tim Allen) is now happily married to Mrs. Claus (played by Elizabeth Mitchell), and they are expecting their first child. However, their joyous preparations for the upcoming Christmas season are threatened by the villainous Jack Frost (played by Martin Short), who has long been envious of Santa's fame and popularity.

Jack Frost convinces Santa to take a trip to check on the Naughty and Nice List, leaving the toy factory in the hands of his mischievous elves. While Santa is away, Jack Frost sabotages the factory and creates chaos, causing delays in making Christmas gifts and upsetting children all over the world.

To make matters worse, Jack Frost also discovers the "Escape Clause" - a little-known rule that allows Santa to wish he had never become Santa. He begins to plot how he can use this clause to his advantage and take over Christmas for himself.

As Santa deals with the mess at the toy factory and tries to save Christmas, Jack Frost hatches a plan to trick him into invoking the Escape Clause. Santa ultimately decides to use the clause, but realizes too late that it was a huge mistake. He finds himself in an alternate reality where he was never Santa, and must figure out how to undo the damage he has caused and restore the holiday spirit.

The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause is full of holiday cheer and heartwarming moments, as well as plenty of laughs and hijinks. The film also features a star-studded cast, including Alan Arkin, Ann-Margret, and Judge Reinhold.
