Kallie (played by Ashley Newbrough) is a young woman who has had her fair share of bad luck during the Christmas season. From lost jobs to breakups, she is convinced that she is cursed by the holiday. However, one day she receives a mysterious package on her doorstep: The Santa Box. Inside, she finds a note that tells her that the box contains the key to breaking her Christmas curse.
Kallie is skeptical at first, but with the encouragement of her best friend and a handsome stranger, she decides to follow the instructions in the note. She discovers that the box contains a series of tasks that she must complete before Christmas Eve in order to lift the curse.
As Kallie completes each task, she begins to see the magic and joy of the holiday season. She helps decorate a Christmas tree for a children's hospital, volunteers at a local soup kitchen, and even donates her own Christmas presents to families in need. Along the way, she finds herself falling in love with the stranger who encouraged her to open The Santa Box in the first place.
On Christmas Eve, Kallie completes the final task and finds that the curse has indeed been lifted. She realizes that the joy and magic of Christmas had been there all along, and that sometimes all it takes is a little bit of belief to see it. As she celebrates with her loved ones, she knows that her life will never be the same again.
