The fashion photographer, named Patrick, works for Vice and is accompanied by his two friends and colleagues, Sam and Jake. They are on a mission to document the cult-like community of Eden Parish, led by a charismatic man known as Father. Once they arrive, they are welcomed with open arms by the community members who are eager to share their stories with Vice.
However, as the friends begin to dig deeper, they uncover dark secrets about the inner workings of the commune. They discover that Father has a strong hold on the members, using tactics such as public shaming and physical violence to maintain control. In addition, they learn that the community is heavily armed and seems to be preparing for something big.
As tensions rise, the friends' safety is called into question. Eventually, they become trapped within Eden Parish and must devise a plan to escape before it's too late. The Sacrament is a chilling portrayal of the dangers of groupthink and the power of manipulation.
