The Rope Curse 2 is a Taiwanese horror film directed by Shih-Han Liao. The film is a sequel to the 2018 movie The Rope Curse. The story takes place in a small village in Taiwan, where people are committing suicide at an alarming rate. Jia-min, a girl who has the ability to see and communicate with spirits, believes that the suicides are being caused by a vengeful spirit named "Yi-A-Gu" who has been summoned by a group of teenagers using two streamers.
Jia-min tries to stop the spirit by performing a ritual, but things quickly spiral out of control, and the spirit starts possessing people. Huo-ge, a man who has the power to exorcise demons, decides to help Jia-min, but he is hesitant to use his powers after losing his will to fight during a battle with a Thai demon five years ago.
As the situation in the village worsens, more people fall under the influence of the vengeful spirit, and Jia-min and Huo-ge must work together to stop it. Along the way, they uncover dark secrets about the history of the village and the people who live there. The movie is full of jump scares and tense moments that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
