In "The Rocker," Rob "Fish" Fishman (played by Rainn Wilson) is a struggling musician who achieved his dream of being in a rock band, only to have it taken away from him when his bandmates kicked him out just as they were about to sign a major record deal.
After 20 years of working dead-end jobs and feeling bitter about his past, Fish gets a chance to be a rock star again when his nephew's high school band, A.D.D., needs a drummer. Fish joins the band and together they embark on a wild journey to make it big in the music industry, while also navigating the challenges of being in a band and dealing with their personal problems.
