The Rizen: Possession is a horror movie released in 2020 and directed by Matt Mitchell. The movie is set in 1955 during the height of the Cold War. The British government has been working on a top-secret project called The Rizen, which aims to create a gateway to another world. The project has been abandoned after many failed attempts, but the facility has remained operational due to the presence of strange beings and dark forces.
In the present day, a group of young urban explorers break into the abandoned facility to uncover the truth about the project and the strange experiments that took place there. They are soon pursued by a private military unit that is also interested in the facility. As they delve deeper into the facility, they accidentally unleash an ancient evil that threatens to destroy the world as we know it.
