The Reenactment follows the story of a film crew consisting of a director, producer, cameraman, sound engineer, and two actors as they travel to a remote location in the mid-90s to shoot an episode for their true crime show. The episode they will be shooting is about a couple who mysteriously disappeared from their home in the same location a few years ago.
As they set up their equipment and prepare to start filming, strange occurrences begin to take place. They hear unexplained noises, see shadows moving in the corners of their eyes and find objects seemingly moving on their own. Despite their unease, they press on, believing the creepy atmosphere will add to the authenticity of their episode.
One night, while filming a reenactment of the couple’s disappearance, the actors suddenly disappear without a trace. The crew frantically searches for them but cannot find any signs of their whereabouts. As the tension and fear rise, the crew begins to suspect that they are not alone in the house.
