The Reef is a 2010 Australian horror-thriller film directed by Andrew Traucki. The film tells the story of five friends who set sail from Indonesia to Australia, but unfortunately their yacht capsizes due to unforeseen circumstances. The friends try to swim to the nearest land before the boat sinks, but they are stranded in the middle of the ocean.
As night falls, the group realizes that they are not alone in the water. They are being hunted by a great white shark that is circling around them. As they near the shore, the shark attacks once again and Suzie sacrifices herself to save Matt. In the end, Matt is the only survivor and makes it to the shore, traumatized by the horrific experience.
